It has become the platform to deliver arguments, express thoughts and has bulged with the source of information which is flowed that have been affecting people's ideology, their thoughts and creating the virtual world space in which the meaning of health, happiness, amiab
le behavior, respect, and esteem are so different from real-world in which people get happy which is scientifically good for their health and other side people are believing and get trust with unknown personality and confused with identity behind the veil.
It is a beautiful trap that binds us within its virtual premises. It creates distance between the actual ecosystem and virtual scenario. But it is a too powerful tool to create a monarchy on your behavior, ideology, and your thoughts process and can be. Or is being influenced by someone.
People are the most powerful in democracy, everyone knows can be influenced by social media that is used by political parties. Nowadays, the political parties are so active in social media through which your ideology is being tried to change by using artificial intelligence and algorithm used by like Facebook, Instagram.
By using this, your perspective towards someone or something can be changed. Generally, it is used very frequently in election times. You think that you like and support particular things on it but as per psychology if you see/watch something in multiple times you get liked, you start believing in such thing. then you have been traped even without knowing by you. These things decline your rational capacity and being neutral.
It is a big game, which is played by corporates towards their goods and service, political parties to win elections as much as happened in the USA election by using social and other media by CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA ( A Cambridge Analytica data scandal).
But it is one side of coin another side is very productive and can help in good governance by using their data to --COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR problems and deliver the respective solution by govt.
It can be used to create a manifesto, help tp engage with votes, observe their needs, views, opinions, Grievance reduces political mobilization, and so on, but unfortunately it is in the dark side of coin yet.
People's awareness and their rationality towards a decision by acting responsibly human beings towards society can put light on those dark sided parts so that everyone could be benefited in the future and bring transparency in governance can be assured too.
