Lock-down: A big hope or problem for the people.
Lock-down word has got enunciate attention in these days and its meaning is being seen differently by the family to family, some people are smiling in lockdown due to the family solidarity and somewhere they are crying in the same days of lockdown due to unable to feed the family and its member from hunger, somewhere they are learning and finding the opportunity and somewhere people get mentally depressed due to the separation from the family. Somewhere people are making various dishes on a daily basis and somewhere people have to adjust to some foods. Indeed, this is the reality of real India and its citizens where poverty and hunger still exist in a large proportion that couldn't be seen by political eyes before this Pandemic and now the environment and the eyes both have become transparent. India is an agricultural-centric economy where a large proportion of the population still exists below the poverty line due to less income elasticity of demand for agrarian products.
Poor live in their own world where two times of food is enough for them where they don't know about saving because saving is the part of income left after consumption and they spend largely on foods then what they left, Nothing.
They have been used to this situation and are not able to dream big & have to face the problem as their Destiny's share whether it has created by rich or by themselves but ultimately they have to bear the problems. In this situation, the Pandemic has impacted more the poor and less the rich. If u have money then it has proven many times that u can divert the law' eys and purchase the authority's permission. After the end of disease, once the labor gets reached their village they hardly will migrate or return in cities to earn livelihood rather search job nearby them that is why govt is not allowing transportation especially for labor but available for rich, for foreigners, for students which are also a discriminations behavior by govt towards the deprived section of society .why they are noticed when the problem comes not before, whereas the problem is with them since their birth, why the govt wait to do so for them before any big problem. Pandemic impacted more to them & India's economic conditions are going to be worst in the next years if the proactive steps will not be taken. But these days something positive we are learning like help to the needy, keeping hygiene ourselves and govt should also learn from this to improve the health system and work to deteriorate the poverty and hunger. Now the people's banking habits will improve and they will start to save as well for the precautionary measures. I wish the govt to abolish poverty and hunger which is the most dangerous silent pandemic that is underestimated by the state yet
